Hey Boss... kinda OT here but, head to head, PB's vs. #26, I've heard mixed opinions.... what are your thoughts

RP,

Well, not many have had a chance to try Poorboy's new Natty's wax and compare it to #26, so I'm not sure what others were comparing the #26 to in Poorboy's line? The only fair product to compare against #26 would be the Natty's, as they are both considered pure carnauba's.

Having said that, I actually like Natty's wax a bit more than #26, as it reminds me of P21S, only clearer and more reflective than the P21S.

All good products though, and it usually comes down to personal preference!

Yeah, I've heard good things about all three products that you've mentioned there... P21S is a product that my buddy MisterGadget SWEARS by... and he was a Meguiar's advocate as well at one time.... still is to a certain degree but swears by the P21S.

Geesh... this next order to Dwayne is going to be SUBSTANTIAL!! LOL!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their advice over the past few weeks. With a brand new truck being picked up next week, I finally opted for a whole slew of Meguires products to take care of it. Should look really nice on my wife's black Volvo too. Went for the NXT line of product...

The good thing about Mequires is they are very reasonabley priced products as well. If I don't like them, I have no issue just moving on to something I might like better!

Also opted for a bunch of microfiber products to make sure I treat my new baby right!

Thanks again everyone...I'll keep you all posted once I have a chance to try all this stuff out!

He's definately in the club. I think it's in the F150 commandments somewhere:

"Thou shalt test new automotive products on your wife's car prior to your own."

Good luck with the new ride FX4 - look forward to hearing how you like the products.

I don't have a wife, but I use firend's cars as the test base. I wish I could have tested the Black Fire on another car prior to mine, it would have saved me what is going to be mucho time getting it off my paint in 45 days.

Seems a bit on the drastic side, getting married to have a test car..

That is a case of where the comma or dramatic pause is at, can change the whole meaning of the phrase

Practice on "somebody Else's wife's" [dramatic pause ] car!

Changes it 180* degrees

ROUSHFAN-1,

Not RP here, but you might want to consider purchasing at Premium Auto Care. I've had great service from them, as has RP.
(They have most of the Meguiar's products............ including the Professional line, and the Detailers Series)

http://www.premiumautocare.com

If you join the DetailCity fourms you can get a 10% discount on anything your order by entering (detailcity) in the coupon code area when you are checking out.

http://www.detailcity.com

Also, during the month of March, I think Premium is running a special of free shipping on all orders over $100.

Hope this helps.

Hey Rousch,

I'm in Eureka, Nevada right now on business and struggling through playing catch-up on posting via my 28.8k dialup connection (soon to be cancelled because my connection speeds suck EVERYWHERE... I won't say the name of the company but, I'll never use it again on EARTH to LINK with anyone... THEY SUCK!)...

To answer your question... just like Boss said, I'd probably go through PAC.... the service is INCREDIBLE and the prices are competitive...
