I have ordered ..........

The 7424 PC which will be here on Tuesday. The Mequiars kit arrived today.

I was going try puting on zaino with it. I have been a Z freak for about a year and a half. I just wanted to speed up the operation.

So, once it is on, can I take it off with the buffer too (without using a towel under it)?

AND What about using microfiber towels to remove the zaino or other waxes (natural or synthetics)?

Are the MF towels too aggressive for the job? Maybe they would take off too much of what I am trying to put on.

Thanks,

Tom

I would definately use a MF towel to remove.... it's going to be less agressive than a 100% cotton terry...

Also, I don't think you want to use the PC to remove the wax/polish...

Let us know how you like it. So far, I love mine.

You can get a MF bonnet to fit the foam pads that fit the PC from mecguiars. Place a pad on you PC, slip the MF bonnet on the pad and get after it. I will usually go through 4 bonnets buffing a vehicle. Throw'em in the washer, dry them, and they will be ready for their next assignment.

Two things. First this assumes you are removing a thin coat of product. If the product has been applied too thick then a terry bonnet works better. Second, start off with the PC set on a low speed until you get use to it taking off product.

Great, Thanks Guys

I will be looking forward to it when I can. It is raining cats and dogs here.

I think I will order some of those bonnets while I am waiting.

Thanks -

Tom

Microfiber bonnets

I want to buy 6 of these bonnets, those Ultibonnets are $6 each - is that high or is that the just what they cost?

THall,

$6 (5.99) each for the bonnets is the price on the Meguiar's site.

Thanks Boss

Seemed high. I'll just go do it. Sometimes its just the cost of doing busness.
