Brake Dust Reduction?

Thanks, 98.
Not sure when I'll be due for my next truck. My '01 has about 47k on it right now... but like I said, I've got what I would consider a real lemon on my hands. Just had an ignition coil go out, which was SUPPOSED to last until like 100k. Had the passenger side power window fixed 5 times already. On my third set of brakes, second set of tires. Had all new spark plugs put in. My gas mileage sucks the suck out of suck, but some of the things above may have contributed to that. Well, that and the fact that I have the damn wuss 4.6L engine instead of the 5.4L like I SHOULD have bought if I had half a brain. Stupid me thought that the 4.6L would be a better idea for gas mileage reasons, but hauling around the extra weight of the 4x4 on the Mustang's engine makes for a real sluggish ride. Oh well.. now I know.
Thanks again,
Jeff

Yeah, those mods may make a difference if I had them done... but I'm not sure they'd be able to completley overcome the weight issue.
Which brands of mods did you go for and who did your work?
Thanks,
Jeff

I'm on my third exhaust actually, counting the factory one. I had true duals, 2 1/4" pipe, and 24" glasspacks after factory. It sounded great but finally rusted through and broke. I just recently had another system installed with flowmaster knockoffs. The pipe is the same size, and exits in the same place as before. The funny thing is they laid the knockoff and flowmaster side by side, and the copy had a better coating, and better welds. Overall construction was identical, just done better. I had it done at a shop out on Airline, off behind the Firestone/Dennys' shopping center on 45. Not sure of the name right now, but I can look it up. The intake is a K&N Gen II, and the chip is a Superchip(non programmer) I installed them myself. I had the intake and exhaust before a chip, and it seemed to compliment the other two. It was a noticable difference when I put it in, especially since I was in a 5000 ft elevation at the time. The truck was downright sluggish at that height.
