In case you run out of the clay bar lubricant you can make some yourself. Mix 1 part Armor All (or something similar) with 10 parts water in a spray bottle. It just has to be a slippery liquid to do the job.
On another note I've always taken exception to the "if you drop it throw it away" rule. A clay bar can cost from $10 to $25 and if you're not experienced with it, you're going to drop it sooner or later; it's slippery. Unless you're detailing your truck in a sand box it's probably not going to pick up that much dirt. What I've done is to hose it off with water to the get the majority of the debris off of it, then take your time and pick off the rest; the little bits of clay that come off with the dirt won't add up to much and you can keep your bar. Anyway, that's my two cents.
