I had to dig this thread back up since the first detail of the year is around the corner. Me thinks I'll stick with the mothers three-step program.. .well, at least steps one & two. Last year on the BMW I used NXT as a topper. Yeah yeah, it has a mild polish agent and can remove some of step 2, but the end result was top-notch and turned out to be VERY durable.
I've heard excellent things about the FX and the shine it gives. I've also heard folks using the Reflections top-coat after step 2 since it does not contain any polishing agents. What to do what to do....
So anybody actually USE the 'new' Mothers products yet?

Dupont went on record several times stating that the addition of Teflon to vehicle waxes in no way helped the formulation nor did it increase durability.
Now, they have a boat load of products on the market sporting 'TEFLON' across the label.
