Major under carriage cleaning time

Major under carriage cleaning time
Around here in lovely eastern ky where mud flows like water on the highways from coal trucks, is causing a big mess on the under carriage of my truck.
I can get it clean again after a trip in the rain, but I have to bust out the 409 and steam jeanie and crawl under my truck and most of the time even take off the wheels to get the shocks springs axles etc clean again.
Then after getting it all clean and mud free I usually spray armorall under the whole truck frame, sparetire, gas tank rearends, shocks, axles etc. to keep it looking new.
This usually takes around 3 hours just to get my truck ready to wash the rest of the body.
Any suggestions for products to use to make the dirt come off easier.

I wish I could explain an easier way to perform that task but, to my knowledge, there isn't one.
I typically do this once or twice a year and utilize a pressure washer loaded with a simple green solution. In addition, I typically pre-coat the majority of the area beneath the truck with SG or a similar degreaser like Meguiar's EXTRA.
I'll final rinse with straight water without solution.
Good luck...
