Painting Truck "chrome" or "reflective silver"
Hey guys,
I understand painting a vehicle in a chrome color is a potential hazard to others on the road, especially on a sunny day
Is this actually stated to be illegal though?
I have seen cars with a highly reflective shiny silver coating. And am interested in painting my truck this way too.
Let me show you an example:
Except a little more reflective than that. I swear I have seen a lexus driving around the way I described it.

That's a good argument
A good sign:
If you can't see me in my mirrors, I can't see you. (great bumper sticker.. Chromed out of course)
Well I'm going to make some calls, and post in here what Info I get on it. *seriously attempting this*

Don't come to Texas
Here in Texas the cops are generally pretty cool about underbody lighting in the big cities but if they want to they can cite you for damn near anything.
State law: If any activity or addition distracts fellow drivers, said driver is considered a distraction and nuisance on the road.
(and it's at their discretion what constitutes a distraction)
Like I said: stay out of Texas the troopers would have a field day with you.
For a track vehicle or show car though that sounds absolutely awesome...but then again I feel bad for you thinking about all that cleaning.
