This really is an open ended question as car care products are like an individual's preference in underwear.

Seriously though, I utilize Simple Green on white walls and have done it with great success. Please be sure to only apply the chemical to the tire and NOT get it on the wheels. Further, I'd recommend wetting everything down before application.

SG will remove wax from any surface and could have adverse effects on certain metals and thus, use it at YOUR OWN RISK. It works exceedingly well but, as with just about any chemical, there can be side effects. Use per the manufacturer's directions always!

As for dressings, again, I'd use the underwear analogy but, I think I'll go with the shoe analogy here... LOL!

My two personal favorites are Meguiar's Hyper Dressing at 2:1 or Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel. Both are a glossy type of product but last a very long time. I'm not sure if you're looking for more of a 'natural' look or for gloss...

I'm not quite as "glossy" as RP.

I prefer a little more satin look... Poorboy's Bold & Brite and Zaino Z16 are my prefered water based products. 4 Star's Ultimate Gel is probably my favorite gel.

If you prefer the satin look, you can use just about any product. Just let is set up for a while and buff it out with a dry rag.

Talking Tire Cleaning

I use Wesley bleach white to clean and Black magic to give them a shine. I use a applicator that I found @ the dollar store works great. Then I use never-dull on the rims.
