My first Weekend detailing!!
I spent about 10 hours total doing the wash, clay bar, *9 and then next on my truck. I did all the work by hand and what a workout it was. I really need to get a G100. Anyway I'll be posting all the pics in my galler so take a look and see what a difference the #9 and NXt made on my truck. Everything came out great from following the advice on this forum. I do still need to #9 my hood again though.
Also the turtle wax terry bonnets are the worst thing I've ever attempted to use. They have more lint than a dryer lint screen which is why I ended up doping the truck by hand..

Yep. He did. And didn't leave a link to his gallery nor post a picture. I'm getting too old for all this wade around to find information and pictures stuff... LOL!
Okay... okay... I'll go find the album but, I'M NOT posting a link!! LOL!

Nah... it's not Alzheimer's ... it's the crack cocaine. I mean, the Alzheimer's doesn't help matters but, in all honesty it doesn't hinder it either...
Hey y2k... how about a link to your gallery! I'm too old to be looking for a link to your pictures...
Say, what's that little camera icon for?

OK, now after seeing your truck I feel like I just wasted the six hours I spent on mine. I clayed it, polished it with Megs step 2 polish and the put 2 coats of NXT on it! I felt great till I read this thread......

Your truck looks really sweet, great job.
Now I want to know about #9? What is it and where do I get some?

Hey 5.4, no time is ever wasted trying to beautify your vehicle! It all doesn't happen overnight. Your truck looks good
As far as #9, here ya go You'll have to order it direct from Meg's if there isn't a Meg's dealer around.... normally you don't find the professional products sold in, say, Autozone or Advanced. It's an abrasive polish for use preferrably with a PC that helps get rid of your swirls... some say that #9 doesn't have enough bite, so they opt for #83 (Dual Action Cleaner Polish) With each repetition of product, though, you will see gradual improvements.

Luckily my truck has very few swirl marks in it so maybe I'll just attack it by hand as well.
Anyway, thanks for the info, I'll put it to good use......
