Attacked by a Turkey!!!

The Friday before Memorial Day weekend, I detailed my 2005 Black Lariat with Final Inspection and NXT wax. The truck looked great. Saturday, I had to go to my mother in law's to replace her roof. She lives in North Jersey and has alot of wild turkeys on her property. Anyway, I parked my truck about fifty yards from her house and when we finished working, I looked outside and there was a turkey struting around and pecking the driver's side door of my truck. I yelled at him and he just moved to the front wheel and started pecking the wheel. I ran towards my truck and he just walked around and started pecking the bumper. I was only a few feet away and he just continued to peck at the truck. I grabbed a rock and threw it at him. Finally, he moved off into the woods. My friend was laughing because the truck was so shiny, and the turkey thought that it was another tom turkey. Fortunately, the turkey did not chip my paint. I always knew that Meguairs makes great products.

Damn, wild turkeys are REALLY STUPID birds...except when you're trying to hunt them.

Every day for a month, I was bumping into these birds tying traffic up. I would honk, yell out the window to try and move them. I literally bumped / pushed one out of the way. As always too many people around...I could have reached out the window, snapped its neck and tossed'em in the back seat. Someone say - Turkey tonight.

As always, If I was in the woods, camo'ed, locked & loaded.....I could not get one to come within a 100 yards of me.....
