The thingy in the bag is the Ultimate Bonnet 6.5" detailing bonnet, for removing polishes and waxes I reckon. M9920.

One thing I'm curious about, for all your PC users out there, I did get the right tool, didn't I? Says G100 on the box, but on the polisher itself, it says "Porter-Cable Model 7335, 5" HD Variable Speed Random Orbit Sander."

Oh nevermind, I think I was looking at your clay bar in the ziploc baggie.

Anyway, yeah you have the right tool Meguiar's has their own little name for it, the G100 A. But yeah yours is fine, it's a 'PC.'

Wow! Where do you guys shop? I never get my mail order supplies wrapped in a blanket. Dr. Paul even got pillows - I reckon so he can rest after a hard day of detailing! Missing the beer?

Quintin, what's the #34 for?

Well you know what it is, spend all this money and time on your paint and the girl leaves you. You have to sleep with something at that point, that way your not alone

Now, I was lucky, my girl went out and bought of a bunch of Meguiars stuff for herself.

Quintin, what's the #34 for?
I've read on here before that some type of QD spray works well for lubrication when claying...I think it'd be easier to handle as well, compared to what I've done before by mixing up another batch of wash solution.

That's my shooting mat and my throw rug in the background...only the best.

Just a QD... body shop safe though... aka: no silicones...

#34 is my fourth most favoriteststest quick detailing product.... behind Final Detail, 4-Star UGE, and Last Touch.

It **IS** a great clay lube. I had a gallon of it (about half full) go bad though. If you let it sit too long, you'll end up with an algal bloom in the bottle. Live and learn and poor it down the drain.

Quintin... the 7335 is Porter Cable's G-100. Long story short, as you can obviously see, PC makes the G-100 for Meg's. There's really nothing special to it (this according to a VERY high-up at Meguiar's) other than the warranty (which, in my opinion, is special). My next PC won't be a 7424 or 7336... it'll be a G-100 so that I never buy another one again.

You've got a nice spread of products there. Nothing like a big box of detailing goodies to make the day happier. I do this all the time for myself as I'm a very depressed person most of the time. LOL! My wife still thinks it's a disease.... obcessive compulsive something or other...

DrPaul... geesh man. Downsize the photos!!!! 18 megapixel photos are tough when viewing/reading a post! Going to snub it for now... feel free to repost with a smaller pic.

I can't wait to get my box of "goodies" on Friday. The first thing I am going to tackle is my daughter's BLACK Civic. Should be loads of fun or a big pain in the keester. Then if I could only get my daughter to take better care of the car....

That'd be it, plus a few things. I added the #9, #16 (which I think I snagged up one of the last tins they had), #26, two bottles of #34 and #80. The ADS kit also came with the Velcro backing pad, but I bought the Meguiar's velcro pad (W64-DA) from Superior Car Care, so I've got two velcro backing pads. I didn't think about it at the time, but I guess I'll order a couple more polishing and finishing pads for the G100/PC thingy too.

I also ordered a counter weight for 6" pads from Superior Car Care, but looking at my polisher, it's already got a counter weight installed on it, but this one is marked "For 5 inch pads." What gives?
