Any Plastic GooRoos out there?

Let my buddie back the trailer up to pick the boat out of the water and he pulled an oops, scraped a pile of rubble all up against the sides of my running boards. The standard ones on the XLT. (dark grey plastic) There scratched up pretty good, and Im losin sleep lol ! Any way that can be polished out , or smoothed in anyway. There not deep, its more like someone took a heavier grit sandpaper and sanded them , there dull and scratched up where he rubbed into the aggregate pile though. Please tell me I dont need to get a new running board??

I'm even more stumped...

Someone might be able to perscribe some type of 'sanding' option but, that route will probably remove some of the texture in the plastic and potentially cause more 'whitening' due to scuffing...

I'm stumped on this one... not sure how to fix it.

I don't think you can without removing/altering the texture.

Goto your dealer and ask them who does their plastic touch ups on new and used vehicles. I had my plastic door panel screwed up pretty good ( big hole) and they fixed mine and you cant even tell it had a hole in it. It will probably cost around $50 (shouldnt be more, as mine was $100 cdn) to get that fixed as the scrathces are not to deep.
Worst case scenerio you can always drive to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and i can get the guy who fixed mine to fix yours!
Hope this helps,
Trev
