Do I need to polish my wheels *UPDATE*

After listening to all the good suggestions on whether or not I needed to polish my wheels I finally had a little time to try something out. I kind of took the easy way out though. I just went up to wal-mart and bought some polish for about $4.00 and gave it a go. They look better but not nearly perfect so I'll keep trying. Here is what I used.

Nice. Like you said, not perfect, but much improved. I use EO Nevr-dull all the time. Great product.

I know RP will probably chime in and suggest it also, but I have recently started using Heavy Metal Polish, and that stuff is great. Eagle One is a great product also, but I found the HMP to be better overall. I would think that you would need the Ultra Fine abrasive or medium abrasive for those wheels. Anyway, it is some of the best polish I have used, and hopefully RP will chime in with the correct abrasiveness of polish for those wheels. They are still looking pretty good though after the EO! Nice Truck too!

I have been using this for years............

Its the best product I have found. It wont oxydize or turn hazy. It takes a bit of elbow grease if you havent polished in a while, but once your all shined up its easy to maintain your shine with it.

I put it on my pick-up, Boat, and Semi-truck once a month. They all look as shiny as the day they rolled off the dealers lot.

I have not used the other products mentioned here but I did one time take the mothers mag and aluminum polish and take a piece of flat raw aluminum plate and put a mirror finish on it with ease. That stuff is awsome if it works half that good on wheels I need to polish my wheels and nerf bars up. Time is pretty hard to come by these days.

Those look like aluminum wheels. The best thing I've found for aluminum is a product from Germany called SimiChrome. Never-Dull is good, I prefer it on chrome..but SimiChrome is awesome on aluminum, epsecially polished aluminum. I use it on my motorcycle. It's about $8 for a small tube but it goes a long way. Hope that helps.....
