Correct Product Order

OK, OK OK. I just spent 30 mins using the search feature trying to answer my own question. I have been "expanding" my products that I use on my truck. Problem is, I am not sure the correct order I should use them in.

First of all I will be using my new PC (Happy Father's Day to me!!)to apply/remove the majority of the products.

My question is two fold. First, what order should I apply these products. (Assume that I had to use them all). Secondly, will be be more benefical to apply/remove any of these products by hand.

Steps:

1) Wash
2) Clay
3) Polish
4) Wax
5) QD

Now here are the products that I would like to use:

Klasse AIO
4 Star UPP
Mequiar's Color X
Mequiar's #26
Mequiar's #7
Mequiar's #9
Mequiar's Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner
Scratch X - Apply/remove by hand
NXT

I know some of these products can be interchanged. Any help is much appriciated. Thanks in advance.

I dunno about Klasse or 4 Star, but here's what I do know. #26 is a last step product, apply that after you polish, in very thin coats. I apply and remove that by hand. #9 you can use with the PC, that's done after wash/clay/cleaner and before your last step product. If you wish, use NXT before #26, 'cause NXT will remove #26.

Someone better in the know should be along shortly.

I'll tackle the Meg's products as I know and understand them ...

1. Scratch X
2. Deep Crystal PC
3. #9
4. #7
5. NXT
6. #26

Color X could possibly be substituted for steps 2 through 4. All of them may or may not be necessary.

It's impossible to perscribe a really solid course of action without seeing your paint... I mean, maybe you need one or two of the products and maybe you need all seven of them. No way to tell over the net but, in general, the Meg's products are listed above.

As for the 4* and AIO, they'll fit in around step 4 and step 5 respectively.

Now I'm not the smartest man to ever crap between a pair of boots, but that CANT be good for that new computer.

Sorry, I couldnt resist. I'm in the middle of some very monotonous work for one of my professors and am slowly going brain dead. If this gets any worse I'm gonna have to be watered twice a day.........

Actually I'm jealous, which I had the time to do all that to my truck. She got waxed back in early spring and is about due for another good coat. Enjoy making your baby shine!
