That is true BE CAREFUL who you take it to. The cheapest guy might not be the best. Do your homework, ask for references and follow up on them. It doesn’t take much to totally screw up the paint and/or interior.

With my last truck I tried 3 different detailers ranging for $60 - $125 and all three did half *** jobs. None of them could manage to keep the damn wax off the plastic and covered it up with cheap oily dressing that after the first wash showed how they stained the plastic.

That is when I started doing a lot of research and found Zaino (many other great products are available but Zaino was my choice) I now do it myself and do a much better job then the other three “professionals” did. Another great thing about Zaino is it does NOT stain plastic if you get some on it.

Anyway, bottom line is research, research, research just because someone has a business and calls themselves a professional or expert means nothing if there is nothing to back it up…
