How can I remove this?
Has anyone had the unfortunate task of removing what appears to be adhesive used to attach pavement markers? If so, how? I assume this is what it is, because I vaguely remember driving next to a street paving operation last week. Just trying to get some ideas, but I will post pictures once I get home this evening from work. Thanks.

Going to have to try some sort of Solvent.
Stoner's Xenit or Pro's PRO-sol is what I would try. email prowax.com and see if they have a local distributor.
Otherwise I'd have to say see if pepboys has 3M's tar and adhesive remover. It's solvent based so it might work with some dwell time. Otherwise you're looking at trying Mineral Spirits.
If no solvent works, then you'll have to try to get it off with clay or a plastic razor blade, but they're kind of hard to find. If you have a local PRO distributor, then they'll probably have plastic razor blades. Clay you can get at places like pepboys but I'm not sure if it'll be agressive enough to get that stuff off.
How long has it been on there?

After some searching I've only been able to find the plastic razor blades here. Anyone know of a local store that may sell these?

"You can use the adhesive remover on any vehicle surface except plastic"
Am I correct the the lower two-tone panel is plastic?

That lower two-tone panel should be a painted surface. Only thing I can think is they might put some sort of flex agent or something else in there to help prevent chips on a lower panel but I doubt it. As long as it'a a safe solvent for paint, it should be able to work there (as in mineral spirits and stay as far away from Acetone as you possibly can). You also may have to let it have some dwell time on the spot.
