Eagle One

Personally I like to use Eagle One wheel and tire cleaner and a Brush. Spray the cleaner on, wash the rim with a sponge, then scrub the tire with a brush, doesn't take much work, and looks fantastic.

I use cheap-o armorall foaming tire stuff with a tire brush, but still never gets that "new" white look until after i follow it up with the mineral spirits. I dislike double cleaning anything....but not as much as i dislike dirty lettering.

This worked great on my white letter tires but I can't find it at murrays anymore! I only bought it last year.

All these things mentioned are great but none are quite as easy as Simple Green. Its biodegradable, so if you get thirsty you can take a sip and it wont even kill you. But it will put the life back in your tires. Apply a little Wet an Black after this to keep that shine for weeks, not recomending you drink this one though. Or either for that matter.

My grand dad for as long as I knew him used soil aka dirt with a wet rag and it worked very well for him.

Ever consider taking going to a tire shop and having them turned around so the black side is out?

I tried that, the BF Goodrich's that came on my Screw are "unidirectional" or something like that.

Take the right tires and switch to the left side think about it, white letters would go to the insides and tire would still turn in the same direction as it does now. PROBLEM SOLVED!

That made me think so i went outside to check....
I'm not sure how to explain it, but in short, that won't work.......i'm pretty sure. :o
The tread pattern on the inside of the tire is completely different than on the outside. It would be like "going against the grain" of the tire.
It's almost like a "forced advertisement" from BF Goodrich.

Maybe im missing something REALLY obvious, but i dont think so.

EDIT:PIC

Simple green here! Works like a charm and the tires look new every time.
