Back to Black....

Is the best way to remove the wax marks on the black trim to just use Mother's "Back to Black"? I have used it in the past and it is great until it rains and then you have to use it again.

Any other products out there that do the same thing but last longer?

Thanks.

Use a pencil eraser on the black trim. It takes it off nicely then hit it up with the back to black!

I was skeptical at first, but have used pencil eraser to good effect.

Someone else mentioned Mr Clean Magic Eraser. Any suggestion on technique?

On the late model, this worked well for me... I would caution EVERYONE with an 04+ that you SHOULD NOT use this method. The moldings are a different material and will 'whiten' with the Mr. C's abrasive cleaning...

Technique is simple.... just follow the instructions on the box. Very light abrasion -- no need to hammer down. And, I caution you to use it at your own risk. Test it and dry it in an inconspicuous spot before going bonkers on your truck.
