How bad is tree sap?

I have currently parked my truck under a tree where I work and I noticed that, the tree drips sap like crazy. It basically looks like rain drizzle. Is it something that will be okay if I leave my truck there for a week and then wash is during the weekend.

I wouldn't do it. I don't part under trees at all if there is anyway to avoid it.

I guess I will go pick it up and wash it and put it in the garage...

Tree sap is acidic. Leave it there long enough and it can become permanent.

I'd recommend moving parking spots and washing it soon

Exactly.

Tree sap is quite acidic and can easily etch a painted finish. I suggest finding a new spot for parking...
