Can you paint factory FX4 flares?
Is this possible and if so how much prep work is involved. I have seen something about sanding them smooth as I believe thay are textured. Then something about a coating that makes the paint stick better?
I have the opportunity to buy a set and want to paint them AZ Biege and install them on my 06 XLT.

Yes it can be done. Several people have done it. Do a search in the 2004-2006 F150 forum for more results.
