Tonneau Cover Care

Where can I buy Tonneau Cover Protectant? I have heard that Pro-Tex by Truxedo and TonneauTonic by Extang are probably the two best ones out there.

Anyone have any experience with these or other easier to buy (locally rather than mail order) and less expensive soft tonneau car products?

Murray's Automotive has it! This stuff will make your tonneau cover look and feel like the day you got it.

I bought the Extang stuff and have yet to use it so I'm wondering the same. It has been highly recommended from what I've heard. Let us know how you make out.

Another vote for 303 Protectant. Really like the stuff, although it can be tough to locate if you don't want to buy it off the net.

The only two that I'd consider are 303 (as previously mentioned or Vinylex. Both are fantastic products.

Do either of those stay wet on the surface, and attract dust? The Meguiars vinyl & rubber protectant goes on, you wipe off the excess, and it seems to "set". In other words it has a dry shine. I use it whenever I can find it. Awesome product! ,,,,98

303 is always available at West Marine. IT's recommended by Sunbrella as THE protectent for awning fabrics among other things.

303 doesn't leave your tonneau sticky or slippery like some of the other products. The best stuff there is.

I have an extang and it came with the "tonno tonic" but i prefer the 303 over it... The Extang stuff isnt bad but I agree with Terrance, best stuff there is.

Wow....
Had my wife pick up some 303 yesterday, $16 for 16 oz. Last time I bought it, two years ago, it was $9.50. Didn't realize it had gotten so pricey.

I used to have a cover with my old 1996 F150 and I used armor all - BIG MISTAKE! When it rained it ran down the sides of the truck and left hard to remove streaks. It sure did look goo duntil it rained though.
