Stoners IG, Sprayway, and NXT Glass Cleaner are all very good products. However, my new favorite is Hope's Perfect Glass (got mine at Lowe's). It's also the least expensive of the bunch when you consider how far a quart goes.

I also recommend using Mothers Chrome Cleaner or the mildest Bon Ami powdered cleanser to get any imbedded "crap" off the windows prior to the glass cleaner. The chrome cleaner also works well for removing water spots.

Yep. It's tint-safe.

Another vote for Eagle one 20/20. However, it does leave streaks if not wiped proper. If you soak the window good enough, it usually does alright. It sucks when you clean the windshield and drive into the sunset (ya I know it sounds gay, but you know what I'm talking about) and you see swirls everywhere. Always keep a paper towel handy in case.

The more vinegar the more it attacks water chemicals. Pure vinegar can be used to clean auto coffee pots from built up water chemicals. Just run a pint or so of clear vinegar through the coffee pot a couple of times like the vinegar was coffee water.

I'm an old man and my grandmomma used vinager and water back in 1965.That is all that you need for a perfect wash on a window.Any window.Wipe them down only with newspaper.

Us old guys should stick together, but on this I will go with the younger 'stoner' crowd.

I tried vinegar and newspaper (a rare commodity around here, as the local papers are not worth getting) on one side and Stoners on the other last summer. Stoners wins hands down. At WallyWorld it is cheap and a small amount goes a long way. I use non-microfiber cotton towel with it, just because they recommend it.
My wife even borrows it for doing household glass.
She says it's better than the various things she has used/concocted over the last forty years.
It works well, and the glass seems to stay cleaner longer.

Newspaper is the key to streak free window cleaning. I've found that any good window cleaner when used with newspaper will give you streak free windows all the time.
