Man, you have to work really fast when you use alcohol, though.

I have found what has to be the least expensive solution to getting the imbedded crud off. If you have a Dollar General near you they carry an orange based bug remover for $.99. This stuff has taken off the most stubborn crud I have seen on any vehicle I have owned. It doesn't leave things streak free, for that I use different products depending on whether I can get them and the cost.

I had hard water spots and used stove top cleaner and it did a great job on cleaning all my glass.

I've found it at Wal-Mart so it's not too hard to come by.

Word!

I feel like an idiot for bringing this up, but what's wrong with windex? I have heard for years that windex was the key, and have used it. I haven't noticed any problems, but are there any in the long-term?
