Window Seal Protectant/Cleaner

What is the best product to clean and protect the rubber seals around the exterior of the windows and black plastic pillars b/t the supercrew doors? I always seem to have overspray from other cleaners in these areas and I am hesitant to hit them with Armor All. So far I have been lightly using a multi-surface cleaner to remove spots, but I'm sure this isn't the best solution.

Exterior?

That's a painted metal surface - not plastic. It's thin metal but, it's, indeed, metal.

Treat it like paint.

For the rubber seals, I'd recommend 303 Aerospace Protectant. It may sound a little wowy-zow, but it's truly great stuff. Spray a little on a rag and then wipe it on the seals.

Where do you get this product? I have not seen it in stores.

I've always applied a coating of "silicone spray lubricant" to my rubber door seals. While I've read in several forums that the use of this product in this way is not advised, I have found it keeps the rubber seals of my vehicles looking like new for years???

My use of this product began when I lived back in Minnesota, as the lubricating properties of the spray prevented doors from freezing shut during the cold winter months.

I buy my 303 spray at West Marine. (Yea, the boating supply stores.) I've got to believe you can find it elsewhere too. Maybe a Google search would help?

Duh... I guess it'd help if I read it all eh?

303 or Vinylex are two of the favorites on the market.

You can find 303 at just about any RV shop.

On my rubber, I use Meg.'s Rubber and Vinyl Protectant spray. Just spray dorectly on or to a rag and wipe on. EASY AND CHEAP. (And has great results)
