Detailing - Sites?
I learn a lot reading the treads here, but I was wondering if anyone had some good sites to read on detailing how-to's? How does the average person learn how to truly detail? Maybe go live with Rockpick...
No really anyone can wash a truck (if they want to) but how do you learn the tricks of the trade? Not that I want to do it fulltime, but I want to learn how to 'really' take care of my vehicles.
Thanks in advance...

There are others. These are the ones I frequent.
Be aware though, and this is not to say that everything I say is correct or is the best but, there are folks that post frequently on some of these boards that would serve better purpose to the detailing community if they were to take a 10# sledge to their computer. In short, don't believe everything you read -- here, there, or anywhere.

What RP said is very true about not taking everything as gospel .. do a good bit of ready on each site, and you will get a feel for who knows what they are talking about, and who has a different agenda.
Another very good resource is to find an enthusiast close to you, that would be willing to take the time to show you what they know ..

I just can't resist!
The megs site I visit, the detail city site was new to me, but seems good as they carry a lot of brands. However, I'm puzzled by the link to the dental software site. Care to put it in context?
