I like my white truck, but I recently went through a road paving project, and they had the traffic routed right beside the paver and i got a TON of road tar on my truck, and I still need to get some of it off...

I just gave up on the front bumper because I had so much mud behind there every time I would try to rinse it off, more mud would come through between the valence and the bumper, i'll have to try it when I can get to a pressure washer.

Those pics reminded me of my old 2000 I had when it was new and every time I washed it on how nice and shiny it looked. But now I have the totaly oposite color and it looks just as good clean and shiny but gets a lot hotter in the summertime sitting in the hot sun than my old white truck did.

Cool mine grew on me

I had a choice of 6 different-colored trucks when I bought the ghost, but it was the only solid color at the time. At first, it was too white, so I added a couple of mods to break it up a bit to stand out from the gov't trucks in the area.

Yeah, white is great in the summer. I measured the temperature of my truck hood the other day at 121 degrees as compared to other colors on other vehicles that went as high as 140 degrees as they sat baking in the Kansas sun one afternoon.

White = the win

Not only is it one of the best looking colors for the new body style, but it's cooler and easier to maintain in the FL summer/fall rainy season.

in 2003 when i went shopping for my truck at the dealerships this one was the first one i saw.. (of course it was stock height with stock grill, lights and all that stuff) but it was next to a silver one and i didnt care to look at any other trucks i knew this one was the one for me :-)
