What do you guys use to clean the white lettering...
on your tires with?
While cleaning my rims yesterday I noticed how the white lettering on my BFG 18's looked faded. I ended using a little elbow grease to whiten them a little bit, but I want them to stand out more.
What are you guys using?
Thank you in advance.

Not RP,but I'll give you my 2 cents...
Westleys "Bleche White".
Be sure and spray only on the tire, or directly onto a stiff brush like I do. This stuff left on rims for any length of time can be damaging. Road grime melts away leaving your RWL's as white as new.
Does nothing to get them shiny though, you'll have to coat with your favorite dressing for that.

Westley's is good stuff for white lettering but, be VERY aware that this stuff will pit your wheels - clear coated or not - if left on there for any period of time. For those who don't have clear on their wheels, I wouldn't recommend it at all as it definitely attacks metals in a big way.
A 1:1 solution of Simple Green is much more safe and works very well with a stiff nylon bristled brush. Be careful with the brush around the wheels as well as it can definitely induce scratching on the wheel itself.

You're still going to like the Hyper Dressing.... IMO, Hyper Dressing is the best product that Meg's makes -- oh so versatile!

Not to say that being extra careful isn't a good idea, but I've really had no problems simply spraying the product directly onto a medium bristle brush and going at the tire. Be sure and have a rinse hose nearby, and you shouldn't have any trouble.
Good luck, and I'm sure your RWL's will look new after using the Westleys Our's always do...
