My Shoulders are realllyy Sore.

Well, I'm a 17 year old, with nothing to do...This is my first vehicle BTW.

Cleaned up my whole truck today. Took about 4 hours to do. I love it.

This is what I used
-Meguairs NXT car wash
-Mothers Clay Bar Kit
-Mother Caranuba Cleaner Wax
-Meguairs NXT Tech wax
-Mothers Mirror Glaze for the tires, w/ Eagle one wipes
-Turtle Wax ICE spray detailer for rims/ chrome parts

Looks nice... how did you like the NXT wash? I find it to be, generally speaking, average at best. I have 'a supply' of it that I'd gladly divest...

Really??

Well I can say that the only type of wash I've used is the Gold Class(maybe Glass-I forget) and I did NOT like that stuff. I actually am having good luck with the NXT wash so far.

PM me if you're looking to sell it.

Looks great. Are there seriously no swirls??? II didn't see any. I love the look of your truck overall. BTW- how do you like those lights between your tailgate and bumper. I've seen them before, and was wondering about the price and whether you think they're worth it.

Overall, great looking truck (You just made up my mind to get the window/bug deflectors and clear corners, I think...)

Nice truck man. I'm 17 too. I hate when I see some of my friends just completely neglect their cars/trucks maintenance wise. Keep it up.

Ehh... I've just always found it to work in an 'average' fashion. The suds always tend to fail quickly and I'm not sold on the lubrication qualities. It's an average consumer-based product in my opinion....

Again though, that's my opinion. Different water quality conditions and different users may yield a vastly different view of the product... *shrugs*

Then, RP, what do you use??? (I use the same stuff the other guy does, so I could stand to get some edification.)

Also, jec1521---I definately agree. Same thing for me. 17, baby my truck, and hate to see others not do so. BTW--if that's ur truck in your signature, you have a freaking nice truck. That's a dream truck for me (along with several others...). Besides--with a truck like that (if it's yours), how could you not baby it...???

I really find Gold Class to be just about as good as any...

I've tried some of the 'bulk' washes that Meg's puts out and haven't really had much luck with them.

For one, I'm about half-way scared of Hyper Wash -- 400:1 dilutions tend to intimidate someone who doesn't have a scale in the garage. Secondly, I've tried Shampoo Plus and found it to be lackluster from a suds standpoint. Some swear by it though... not me.

I've tried others... Sonus, #00, and a handful of others and always seem to come back to good ole' Gold Class.

I suggest to try several... if you like NXT, stick with it. It's that simple. If you want to experiment, buy a small quantity of something else and play with it... hell, try out that Blue Coral stuff you were talking about in the other thread...

It's all opinions bud... mine my differ from you. The products I use may not yield results like you demand/want. They may exceed your expectations but they may fall flat on their face short too.

Try it - like it - buy more of it. Try it - hate it - toss it or sell it to someone that loves it. That's my philosophy.

Yeah it's my truck. Thanks for the compliments. I would baby my car/truck no matter what I have, but it certainly makes it easier to with a truck like mine. Yours is really nice too though. I was thinking about trading my truck in for an older model harley or lightning, but realized I need 4wd.

Anyways, good luck with your truck.

Nope no swirls, all done by hand. I tried it with the orbital buffer about a month ago and had alot of swirls. Learned to never do that again. My shoulders are very sore

Thanks alot for the compliments guys. Something you guys wouldnt know buy the pictures, my truck has 130k on it with orignal everything. I got it for 5000.

Put about 1500 into it already. Now im looking for some rims/ Tires. Most likely MT MTZ Radials.
