Rubbing compound

I know most of this forum is very opposed to most TW products, but what are the uses and what are your opinions of TW Rubbing compound (red)? I've got a can of it, but before I use it, I want to be sure that I won't trash anything.

Thanks in advance for your help and input

In a word... Harsh.

It's VERY abrasive. It doesn't break down well. It will definitely provide a 'compounding action' that is not second to many.

I know you're somewhat familar with Meg's products... I'd compare it to a very aggressive #85.

The only time I'd EVER consider using it is to remove wetsanding scuffs... even then, I doubt it'd come out. It's paste sandpaper...
