quiet wipers?

Not sure if this is a good thread for this question... anybody have a recommendation for quiet wipers? Man I hate that rub-rub sound when driving in the rain. Wipers are in good shape, they just reeeely wipe!

Any brands that are particularly quiet & effective?

Gotta love the Silblades. I have a set that are over 2 years old and they work as good as the day I put them on.

303 Products makes a wiper treatment product. I found it to be lousy at best though...

As has already been mentioned... I've been running Silblades for over 4 years now... they are, BY FAR, the best blades I've ever used.

I have been running mine for about 2 years on my truck and Mrs. Tiny's mini van.

Ditto here, Silblades on my Screw, the wife's Sequoia and daughter's Mazada 3 for about a year now. Also use Rain-X washer fluid, but not the windshield treatment.

Does any of the local chain parts stores carry the Silblades or is the website the only place to get them?

I want to say that you can get them thru PepBoy's, but I'm not sure. I've ordered mine from DriverFX and Amazon, with Amazon having some of the best prices I've found.

Do you know the model number for the 04 - Present's? I can't find it on Silblade's site.

Thanks.

I just bought some Bosch Micro Edge wipers at Advance Auto Parts because they're having a "25% off wiper blade sale" until Oct. 28 2006. Got them for like 14 bucks. I replace mine every year, so these should cut it until next year or maybe longer depending on how bad of a Winter we have this year.

Mine stay on year round. They don't seem to be affected by the cold weather. My old blades got brittle after every winter, and had to be replaced. Silblades have been on for 2 or 3 years at least.
