Wow i never would have thought of moving my detailing products inside for winter. Do waxes lose their effectiveness when exposed to cold temperatures? (i just waxed my truck with some Zymol that had been in the garage for 3+ years )

Extreme high or low temps can do a few different things to some chemicals... the biggest problem that may show up is that the product separates. Often times when this happens, the product may not go back into same physical state as it was when you bought it or it may not remix. Obviously, the threat involved with simply applying the 'separated' portion of the product as a whole could present a problem.

It's just a good idea to keep them somewhere in the realm of 45 to 80 IMO.

My garage never gets warmer than 80 to 85 thus, I'm not that concerned during the summer but, during winter, I definitely end up with temps cooler than 40...
