Most sealants say to wait 12-24 hours between coats. I have been using Wolfgangs spray sealant (new), which sets in 1 hour. I put one coat on and work on the wheels, tires, and interior. By the time I am done with the rest I can put a coat of the liquid sealant on. This is the only way I have found to get more than one coat on in a single day. Hope this helps!

You probably want to give it a little time... in fact, what you've described looks to be a MINIMUM of two days.

why not just put a nice high quality coat on... and leave it?

there is no need for multiple coats if you use quality products and do a good job... and i mean we only have f150s, hell i have mine in many car shows beside my stang and never use more than one coat.

Three points...

Multiple coats ensure a tad more durability than just one coat. Coverage is more complete and even when you use two coats.

When using different 'types' of products, the appearance can be dramatically different -- hence, a carnauba will yield a different 'look' versus that of a full-synthetic typically.

8 hours between coats seems to work pretty well for me.
