First of all, welcome to F150Online and welcome to the **** retentive forum. Seeing that you've purchased a black vehicle says many things about you, such as:
- You were a big Darth Vader fan in your younger years
- You like the ability to fry eggs on your hood in the summer
- You have waaay too much time on your hands for detailing
- Can you spell Goth?
- There was this girl in college with a little black dress ...
Anyway, you will find a ton of information here if you just search for stuff that's already been written. Most of it deals with how to remove the inevitable swirls and miro scratches you're about to learn to hate. By the way, all of your past (and future) vehicles will have these imperfections, but nothing makes them scream at you like black. So what's the best way to avoid them?
1) Park your truck in a temperature and humidity controlled / sealed enclosure
2) Never drive, touch ar wash it
Feel free to look at it as much as you want though! Good luck!
