Today's detail... 2006 Superduty (56K warning)

I put the products to use this morning.

Started about 7am removing the wheels and tires to gain access to all of the frame. Sprayed it all down with Citra-Gel then used the steam jeanie to remove it. Done the engine as well.

Washed the body with Hyper-Wash. I am really diggin the Hyper-Wash. The suds level was great the whole wash. It also smells like Johnsons baby shampoo and I just wanted to hold my truck like a new born baby lol.

After I dried the truck, I sprayed the frame, wheel wells and tires with Hyper-Dressing.

Thats about all I can handle today. Tomorrow will start with clay and battle some swirls.

not to sound like a total tool bag, BUT, is there anyway you can snap a picture of the products you used to clean your chasis that good?

Well... You can't get the Citra-Gel anymore, but Safe-Degreaser should do the trick. Spray this on first then rinse with a pressure washer.

Then when it dries you can use any cheapo dressing on the frame & fender wells. I just used the Hyper-Dressing this time.

I take them off about 4 times a year to clean everything up.

Is this what you used on the inside of your wheels? how much scrubbing was needed? Looks great

Thumbs up Re: Detailing

Hey Red, Was that an exterior red brick on your floor jack or a chimney brick....I want to get this part right???? I use Meguiars All season Dressing now on the wheel wells ,It doesn't wash off as bad. Thanks for the info on detailing. 45/70sharpshoot "From the flatlands of Southern Ill."

Nice job 04 RED LARIAT ,great results.
I'm a stickler for a clean undercarriage too.Fortunately I'm equipped to do it the easy way.I gotta get my lazy butt in gear and get mine done again soon.
