What are you guys using to clean your tinted windows?

I just had my front windows tinted and was wondering what you guys use to clean the tint with?

My back windows were already tinted when I bought the truck and I have been using the Meguiar's Extreme Shine window cleaner.

What do you guys recommend?

Stoner's invisible Glass, in the spray bottle .. you can pick it up at your local auto part or mart type store ..

I second Gip. Stoners in the SPRAY bottle (non-aersol).

Be careful with Stoners. IT WILL eat the glue in tint. I used it to take off the front windshield piece and it ate the glue better then the actual tint remover stuff I bought did! Spray/mist lightly and not so much by the outer seams where it can get into contact with the glue. On the other hand Windex no drip is 100% completely safe for tint (that's what I actually use to install tint). I still use Stoners though...

Stoner's does say 'Tint Safe' (or something to that effect) on the bottle. Strange that you had that problem...

I've used Stoner's (mainly the aeresol version because I only recently switched to the spray version) on NUMEROUS vehicles with tint and have never had a problem... *shrugs*

I use the stoners all of the time. I tint on the side for a local shop and changed to stoners for the final wipe. Usually we just use windex or similar product between the glass and the tint film. I even got the shop owner to switch as well. We've never had a problem with it eating the glue at all.

It is very tint safe, IMO, and if you look on the bottle it says a thin layer and multiple thin layers. I put about three thin layers on my personal truck and those of my customers. Comes out really clean and clear. Haven't had any complaints since the switch. As Gip and RP said, get the spray bottle.

I too use stoners w/ a microfiber glass towel. The mf glass towel made the biggest difference in cleaning though.

I only use water and a dry towel afterwards to remove water spots, I dont trust anything that much, I put alot of effort in tinting my trucks windows by myself

I use Stoners on my King Ranch and LS which both have tinted windows and have had no problems.

Oh I wouldn't call it a problem, it actually helped me out getting that awfully huge front window tint and glue off easier then the actual window tint removal solution. I still use Stoners to clean my tinted windows, I just try to keep it away from edges in heavy amounts where it can get into contact with and absorb into the glue since it took off the glue of the tint I removed so easily.

I just use water and a soft towel. My tint shop told me not to use any cleaner with amonia (spelling?).

Why the Spray instead of the Aerosols?

Same here, a wet microfibre towel to wash and a dry one to finish.
