Pad for compounding?

Here's a ? for you pro's. Im gonna put together a list of things I need and make an order from autodetailingsolutions.com... My question is what pad would be good for using #80 on my truck? My buffer is a 7" with the velcro plate if it makes a difference. Thanks fellas

******Also; do you just use the foam pad directly on the paint, or do you put a bonnet over it like these? http://www.autodetailingsolutions.com/Meguiar's%20Microfiber%20DA%20Polisher%20Bonnets.h tm

Well for #80 I would use the foam Polishing pad.

W-8000 if you are using a rotary buffer
W-8006 if you are using a Dual Action Polisher

Yes apply the product to the foam pad and use directly on the paint. The bonnets are for removing polish or wax.
