best wax/polish for white color vehicle?

I have a 2001 White Lightning. Will be detailing it in the coming weeks. I will be clay barring it and then want to follow up with some light swirl/scratch remover and then polish/protect. I will be doing this all by hand also. I want to hear from those with white vehicles (or any expert) what you have found to work best on this color to give the best depth/gloss/shine/ etc. Thanks in advance! -Robb

Vanilla Moose. Probably the best I've used on white... It's a last step product and is carnuba based...

I personally like Wolfgang sealant. I think it gives great depth and clearity.

I know my answer isn't as hardcore as some of the "pros," but it sure is cheaper. I've found that a good coat of Turtle Wax Ice leaves a nice top coat on whatever other wax you put on it. It gives a nice wet look and does a nice job on exterior plastics too. I put it on after I clayed my truck and was very happy with the results. The finish was smoother than glass.

That was the clay -- not the ICE.

Although I'd never be one to disagree with RockPick, I've had very good luck with Zaino products on my Oxford White vehicles. If you want something a little easier to use, Meg's NXT delivers some pretty impressive results too. One thing that really affects any of these products is the condition of the paint - particularly the amount of orange peel, and the surface preparation prior to the actual "wax" application. Do a little searching in this forum and you'll find lots of good advice - particualarly from RP - on how to do that part right.

Yes, I know, but I felt a noticable difference in the paint after the clay and after the ice. I'd like to think the two combined to form some super-smooth finish.

On my aspen white wrx impreza I have used both Z and Meg's NXT tech wax.
I like the tech wax better but that is just me.

Sorry, but I wouldn't use that ICE on anything. I know darn good and well that stuff ruined the hood of my black truck. Brand friggen new truck and that stuff clear coat etched the hood the day after I used that TW ICE. It looked like a hundred birds crapped all over it.
