Waxing Question...

Ouch. Most of us don't even use D/A's for removing wax. It works much better and is much faster to do so by hand. applying, on the other hand, is much faster and easier--not to mention less tiring...
The Powerball from Mothers or flitz ball from some other company exist, but I'd only use them to buff a toolbox, grillguard, wheels (if uncoated aluminium), etc... NOT paint.

It looks good enough IMO, but it isn't all that durable. Makes a great topper. Plan on rewaxing every 2-3 weeks. (at least)
btw--if you have a DA, it'll go faster only on applying it. taking it off is faster by hand since the towels don't gunk up as fast and you have much more control with them.
have fun!

Waxed with what? If it was a carnauba-based wax, you're good to go immediately after the first application. If it was a synthetic, the general rule of thumb is 12+ hours.

Yeah... you're going to want to follow up with another coat immediately. Further, you're going to want to apply that particular product often as it's a great 'show' wax but, not that great on the durability side for an everyday driver.
In a nutshell, you're going to want to reaplly frequently or maybe upgrade to a synthetic like Meguiar's NXT or Mother's Synwax.

will the Meguiar's NXT or Mother's Synwax hold up longer?

Well--How much work are you willing to put into it? For protection, you'll need a good synthetic wax (NXT, Synwax, #20/21, etc). This can be topped with a coat of carnauba to get rid of the 'saran wrap' look. If you don't mind waxing every week or 2, any carnauba is fine, but if you'd like to go 1-3 months between waxing...go syn + carnauba...
Peronally, I remove all wax every 90 days and start fresh with 2 coats of NXT and then 2 coats of #26. Every month, I add another coat of the #26 or whatever else I have laying around...
