It is made for uncoated aluminum,I believe the factory aluminum wheels are clearcoated.

They had this stuff at Andersons when i went today...I didnt buy it because I didnt know if it would work on chrome...

Cool, thanks. At least I know they have it [somewhere] now. Man, I just checked there Sunday too. Maybe they were sold out. Wouldn't surprise me any. The Hot Rims reviews have been excellent.
