If they are Perry homes, the mail boxes should have "planters" in them.

 

"Planters"? not sure what you mean. but everyone in our hood has the same mail box. they are iron with some detail work in them

 

Planters are the little places that allow you put vegetation (notice I didn't say flowers) in the box built with the mail boxes.

All the Perry homes in my hood have "planters" built out of brick.

No worries, take care and get those wheel wells finished.
