Meguiar's #16
I called the "Help" line today, and during the course of our conversation, was told that #16 is available in Europe. ???
Rockpick, know anybody there we can put the arm on? <G>
I was also told that the closest match would be Gold Class Car Wax. It's close, but not perfect. Anybody have any comments on it?

I'd go for #26 rather than Gold Class. Gold class looks fine, but it has virtually no protection as compared to #26, which still has limited protection. I'd go for NXT or #21 topped by #26.

I grabbed two tins from that link, never tried it before and always heard such raves so figured why not. If I don't like it I'll have one can to tinker with and one to ebay.
RP, how's the P21s compare in ease of use to S100, I topped off the gf's truck with S100 entirely by hand, which was almost as fast as using 26 with the DA. Had it laying around for years and forgot how easy on/off it was. Only drawback is the NXT underneath gives a very plastic look to the silver/gray paint.

It was very easy on and very easy off. Keep in mind, silver is one of those colors that is VERY difficult to gain depth. As such, I have nearly stopped trying and have gone for ultimate gloss. Why fight it? It's naturally that way... work with it rather than against it. (famous last words)

It got occasional hype before it was disconn'd but, ever since it vanishing, it's become a 'prize'. *shrugs*

Last Tuesday, I put a couple of coats on NXT on my black 04, followed by a coat of #16. My (female) neighbor came over to see why I was spending so much energy on my "Just a truck", and even her untrained eyes could see a difference between the panels that had just NXT and those with #16. I think it would not show on light colored vehicles, but you can really see a difference on black!
That said, I tried using Mothers (step 2) glaze / sealer instead of Mcguires #9 and I think it worked at least as well and was easier to take off. Anyone else tried this?
