Bug Shield?

How do you guys clean your bug shield and keep it looking good? Is there anything to make it look good again? Thanks

Once you get it clean apply the plastic-x and it will be much easier to maintain. Dryer sheets work great to break down the old bugs. I actually used old ones so that my wife wouldn't get on to me.

3M plastic cleaner, rub in good, wipe off, then do the same with 3M plastic polish. It turns out sweet, doesn't last a long time, but works! I used it to restore harder plastic, 1964 Ford taillights and it turned out brand new.

Mine is hazed up pretty bad. I tried some fine paint polish and it had no effect at all. Is it worth trying the special plastic products you guys mentioned?

ABSOLUTELY!!! Plast-X is one of the few liquid gold products that actually does what it says. It is what traditionally gets me the best reviews in my word of mouth advertising. Everybody seems to love the work it does...hazy to crystal clear... Great product, definately worth the price.

Next time I'm at the parts store I'll pick it up. Thanks!

I'm aggrevated at myself for not taking pics, but this weekend I cleaned the lights on my daughters mustang with the plast-x and a Mr. Clean eraser and could not believe the difference. You can actually see the inside of the headlights now. I believe that this is a good combination for plastic.
