Tried the new Optimum Opti-Seal yesterday *pics*

After hearing good things about Optimums new Opti-Seal I decided to try it. Its a clear sealant that you wipe on and walk away. Pretty cool stuff. I detailed my truck last month so it has a layer of Klasse AIO, 4 Star UPP, Poorboys EX-P, Poorboys Natty's, and topped with Opti-Seal. I need to get some pics in full sun. The sun was going down when I took these. The paint looks really wet in person. I used it on my glass and black trim too.

Overall I'm happy with it. I'm going to put another layer on tomorrow morning. More info on this stuff here http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-opti-seal.html

Looks great! I really like the Fed-Ex sign reflection.
I like the idea, but it sounds a bit (or maybe a lot) gimmicky. Keep us posted as to how well it works.

Both of those links were awesome (I even posted a reply on the 1st one--very impressive) --yeah-- I'm a member there, too, but I haven't posted there in almost a year until tonight.

I guess I might have to try some of that stuff out. If nothing else, it's only 25 bucks. I'm sure I can find someone around here who will let me try it out or sells it (in which case if I'm not impressed, I can always get my $$$ back.)

And if I do just order it, and don't like it for me, but see potential in it, I can use it on customer vehicles or family vehicles. (or sell it to a friend...)

Interesting write up. Let us know, though, as to the long-term results.

Right. Just noticed that. I'm in Louisiana this weekend, but I might see about taking you up on that offer... Do you prefer email or PM???

Adios!

(edit): Are you in the Arlington Area by chance? (I saw the 817-640 number on the sign behind the truck) If so, I might have to coordinate that trip with when I go to check out the Whelen Lights place in Arlington...It's a ways out from where I am (near Keller)

Yes I'm in SW Arlington near the lake. I have a small collection of waxes, polishes, cleaners and a PC. I'm doing my buddies Lexus in the morning. My gf lives off of Rufe Snow in Keller so I'm in that area too. Email is the best way to contact me.

I like the arsenal you have there. In about 2 weeks, I should have a free day (this weekend, Louisiana, next weekend, brother is getting married, one after that I work...ARGHHH!!!) I'll email you in the next few days, though.
