this was a vid i found on youtube....it is a meguires class...it explains and shows what a da and what a rotary can and cant do....at about 6:45 into video he will get out the da...i know the video is about wetsanding...but he used 3000 grit sandpaper...3000 grit paper is about what most swirl marks are or even larger, swirl marks are just fewer and farther between than wetsanding but the same size.
