Inside trim fading

I'm having a problem with the inside trim fading in my truck. I pur armorall on it and keep it clean but its still seems to be fading more. Any pointers on how to restore it or at least stop it from getting worse? here is a pic

Perhaps some window tint, and / or UV protectant. Windows shades f/ dash when parked.

Their are those interior dash paints. But the ones I have seen. you can allways tell that it's a DIY paint job

Well to keep it from getting worse use a protectant/conditioner on it that has some UV blockers in it. Vinylex, Megs #40 and 303 block them and will help to keep it from getting worse. I'm sure there are others, check the bottle and make sure it says something about UV blockers or sunscreen or something to that effect.

I'm going to try the 303, got it on order, i just wish it hadn't got that bad. it was like that when i bought the truck, i'm too religious about cleaning and protecting my toys. i just did a complete detail on the paint, meguiars swirl remover polish, NXT, then meg 26 wax. that was a hell of a 5 hour job.

I thought you said it was getting worse???

Also, why did you buy it messed up???
--Maybe you can get foMoCo to replace it if it's still a young truck...

I'd go with the #40 or 303AP if it was mine...

Good luck!

It is getting worse, but it was like that for the most part when i bought it.

I bought it used for a good deal.

I've got some 303 on the way.

Thanks for the help!

Ahhh. Didn't realize you got it used. You're forgiven. (And I understand the previous-owner-neglect syndrome... I've got similar problems on mine...Seems like the PO liked to roll the window down a lot and let the plastic degrade in the sun...

I'm sure you'll like th 303AP. Good luck!!! (And let us know how it turns out...)
