Actually... they are all in dedicated bins.

I have 4 bins...

1. Everyday towels. These are the ones that I'll use for a quick QD or a touch up after a bug mass-murder on the windshield. They range from Pakshak to Meguiar's to off brand to... well, there are oodles. These are often frequently used on interior wipe downs and/or glass. They occasionally get demoted to the next category...
2. Wheel and Lip towels. These are washed individually in their own load at the very end of towel clean-up. Once they are thrashed here, some of the nicer onces may end up on the interior of the house doing mirrors in a bathroom but, most end up in circular file #13.
3. DF Towels. I have accumulated a stash of these and, as such, they get their own home. Used almost exclusively for the removal of LSPs. Again, these wash individually in their own load FIRST before all other towels.
4. Drying WW's/etc. This bin catches a few of the odd ball things like bonnets and similar. This is my second load of towels.

I have a couple... just a couple.

 

sounds about like me .. although I don't have a lot of the DF towels .. I really like them, and have ben replacing my pak shak towels with them a few at a time.

I have several piles ..

- everyday/QD towels
- glass towels
- WW for drying
- polish removal
- LSP removal

I normally do two loads, one with the glass and WW towels, another with the rest of them ..

 

Hey as long as people are talking about towels they like/dislike, what do you all think about the Costco MF towels? You can't beat the price on them. Are they good enough for everyday type towels?

 

I think it depends on who you are. Toweling isn't a top priority on the list for myself. If it's MF, it's on sale like above, has a nice feel to it, I'll buy it. Vroom sells some very nice MF towels sold at Target. I've also purchased at Big Lots and Dollar General. About the only way you're going to find out is to try them and see.

I've checked out some of the other detail forums too see what others are using. Occasionally, very occasionally, you'll see somebody that is using the boutique toweling, but most are completely satisfied with Wal-Mart, Target, and Costco MF products they sell, especially on a daily driver. .02
