Sap??

Hey guys, my car got dumped on by something that appears to be sap. Its real sticky and i dont know how to get it off before i clay my truck for the first time tomorrow. Ive heard WD-40 works.....What do you guys know share ur secrets..

If it were me i would spray some bug n tar remover on it and let it soak for a minute. Use a rag you dont want anymore and wipe the spot once; and than use a clean part and wipe again. you might have to repeat this 3-4 times, but remember always wipe with a clean part of the rag otherwise it will smear and create a bigger mess. After that you might want to clay the area and rewax. Have fun SAP SUX

I have always used rubbing alcohol on sap. Living in Florida, where it is hard to find an area without pine trees, I get sap drips quite often. The alcohol will remove the wax, but it will not hurt the paint, unless you really rub it hard for a long time (a REALLY long time)
