Need suggestions for detailing a black Caddy

My neighbor asked me to detail their new black Cadillac. My plan is clean the interior. UseMeg's leather Aloe Cleaner and Conditioner. Not sure what would be best for dash so anysuggestion for dash would be great.
Exterior:
Wash with Gold Class 2 bucket method
Clay
#80 for swirls and scratches
*7
NXT wax x2
#16 x2
Meg's Tire Gel

Are there any suggestions on what products might be better for black???
Also, the owners had the paint protection stuff put on by the dealer. Using the PC have any effect on this? What price would you charge for this type of detail? I was thinking $150.

Any suggestions would be helpful. I am pretty **** when it comes to doing a good job so it might take me longer than most.

Thanks in advance!

Well, if you plan on doing multiple coats with the waxes (NXT) you will need 12-24 hours between coats or it removes itself during the second application. Not sure on that other product, but I know that is the case for NXT.

Also, a PC would be a good call, and expect a solid 8 hours or more to do the job right depending on how bad the swirls are.

As for the price, as a semi-amateur that sounds about right.

Not sure on the 7, and 16 in terms of order and # of coats...hopefully someone will chime in on those.

The #7 and #16 are in the correct order. Probably don't need to go two coats on the 16. That's all.

Dash - Quik Detailer Interior.

Are there better products for a black car, most definitely, how much are you willing to spend on products is the question.

Whatever the dealer put on youll be removing with the clay and polish. Usually its **** anyways.

For the full detail on 2- 4 door cars I charge $160- $190. How experienced are you? Might want to check out the detail I did on the King Ranch to see what all I do so you can compare.

This will be my first detail of someone else's vehicle. I have detailed my own for the last couple of years and want to do a little detailing on the side.

Thanks for the responses and I will post pix when I do the job.

Good luck. And remember, its all in the prep. Thatll determine how well it shines after the wax.
