Streaks on Fender Flares after Rain

Hi Everyone,
I just bought my first new truck 06 screw fx4 and I am very happy. I have one concern if anybody can help. I washed my truck for the first time and I used 303 on the fender flares, mirrors, and the top bed rails and it looked great till it rained the next day and all the plastic looked terrible it streaked.Did I do something wrong I sprayed the 303 on a foam pad and worked it in to the plastic. What happened. Can you help?

Thanks

Rick

Same happens to mine...just reapply the 303 and it will be good as new... you really are supposed to put it on let it soak in and then buff it off....I havent tried that yet but it just looks so good when it has the wet look ....so try putting it on and then buffing it off...

Try using less, and spreading it thinly and evenly.

...and then wiping it down at the end.

303, like every other protectant that I've used, will run when rained upon. It's water based and thus, comes back into solution very easily.

Sorry guys, there's no silver bullet in the protectant department. My experience is that they *all* run.

That's why I use EagleOne Wax As U Dry on my plastic (and tonneau cover) - No running what-so-ever. I guess you could say that there is at least one silver bullet out there.

Uhh... we're talking about protectants. Not spray waxes.
