FINALLY got to detail my truck, Dial up Beware
Since the break in, I haven't been able to work on my truck. Been waiting for the paint to "cure", hence the photos of all the other cars so I can get my OCD detail fix.
So today was the big day. Wanted to try using only Poorboys products, start to finish.
Process:
Regular wash, blah blah blah
PB SSR2.5 on trouble spots
PB Polish with Carnuba
PB EX-P
PB Nattys Special Red Paste Wax
Here are a few photos

Yet another Tail Gate photo

My brothers toy in the reflection

The hood

Full shot.
Ok enough.
First time with with the PoorBoys, good stuff, I like it.

It looks good! Dare you take the million-dollar sun-reflecto shot?

Let's just get it out on the table now.
Order of Allegiance:
The Razorbacks
The Dallas Cowboys (America's Team)
Any team in the SEC beating any team in the Big 12.
With that said, how many friends did I get and how many enemies did I gain?
Only kidding....

The truck looks amazing!!
I knocked out my truck last night after getting home from St. Augustine. I thought it was going to need more than it did. I washed, clayed, and than I used #80 on 5 with the PC, which took care of all of my swirls and light scratches. I was going to follow up with #9 but decided I was already happy with the results and the time wasn't going to allow. Following the removal of the #80 which seemed to come off a lot harder than I wanted, I applied a coat of #26 which is amazing. It goes off and on like a dream, I was amazed at the results. Of course, I hit up all of the exterior trim with Meguiars Exterior Trim Detailer, NXT Tire Tire shine on the tires, followed by a diluted mix of various tire shines to the fenders, frame, rear axle etc. I know my truck hasn't looked this good in a long time, its just a shame that its going to rain later today more than likely.
